ELKINS – The Davis & Elkins College online RN-to-BSN program has been ranked as one of the best in West Virginia by the nursing advocacy organization RegisteredNursing.org. The organization is made up of nurses with the mission to promote excellence in nursing by enabling future and current nurses with the education and employment resources they need to succeed.
Davis & Elkins was listed as No. 4 in the ranking based on several factors which represent how well a program supports students during school, towards licensure and beyond.
“Many thanks go to our dedicated and experienced online RN-BSN nursing faculty members who made this achievement possible,” said Chair of the D&E Division of Nursing and Associate Professor of Nursing Dr. Huixin Wu. “I am also very proud of our RN-BSN students who demonstrate nursing excellence both at the bedside and in furthering their nursing careers.”
Designed for working RNs, the Davis & Elkins RN-BSN Degree Completion Program offers busy professionals a convenient and efficient way to further their education. All classes are offered online in three consecutive 16-week rotations. Each rotation is divided into two, eight-week modules with six or seven credits offered per module session. Students may enter the program in January and August of each year.
The Davis & Elkins College Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) program, delivered via distance education, is accredited by the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
