Davis & Elkins College will celebrate the Class of 2024 during the 115th Commencement Weekend. The weekend’s events include the Nurses’ Pinning Ceremony and Baccalaureate Services on Friday, with Commencement taking place on Saturday morning.
The traditional Nurses’ Pinning Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 10, at 4:00 p.m. in the Senate Commons. Students earning either an Associate or Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing will be recognized.
The Baccalaureate Services will take place on Friday, May 10, at 7:00 p.m. in Harper-McNeeley Auditorium in the Myles Center for the Arts. Graduates will be presented with academic hoods and commemorative medals.
Commencement will take place on Saturday, May 11, at 10:00 a.m. in Harper-McNeely Auditorium in the Myles Center for the Arts. Students earning degrees in nursing, education, sport science, natural science, social science, business, humanities, and creative arts will receive their diplomas.
Parking will be available in the McDonnell Center lot from Harpertown Road. Staff will run golf carts and fifteen passenger vans one hour before and after each ceremony.
