The Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Resource Management provides for concentration in Natural Resources Management, Forest Resources Management, or Parks & Recreation Management.
Sustainable Resource Management
The Sustainable Resource Management degree offers an interdisciplinary program of study which stresses sustainable management of renewable and non-renewable natural resources. To serve the needs of students with differing career interests, three-degree specializations are offered: (1) Natural Resources Management, (2) Forest Resources Management, (3) Parks and Recreation Management. Students choosing the Natural Resource Management specialization will be well-prepared for a variety of fields in natural resources, including graduate school or employment in industry or governmental agencies. Students choosing the Forest Resources Management specialization meet the requirements as a civil service forester. Students will be well-prepared for graduate school or employment in industry or governmental agencies. Student choosing the Parks and Recreation Management specialization will be well-prepared for a variety of fields managing recreation resources, including graduate school or employment in industry or governmental agencies.
