The community and corporate health program at Davis & Elkins College spans a cross-curricular course of study

The community and corporate health program at Davis & Elkins College spans a cross-curricular course of study – health and sport science, in addition to nursing, psychology and business – to provide you with a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, nutrition and management. You’ll also complete a practicum working alongside and learning from professionals in the health care field. To maximize your potential, you’re encouraged to minor in business or psychology.

Careers in the health and wellness fields are expanding and as a student in the community and corporate health program, you’ll have vast opportunities before you.

Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared for a career in various health-related fields such as a health and fitness specialist, health and wellness coordinator, facilitator of a corporate wellness program, health educator in a community or public health setting, administrator of a community health program or health insurance. The major also opens the door for graduate study in a clinical field.
